（路透曼谷13日電）泰國總理帕拉育（Prayuth Chan-ocha）今晚表示，他稍早覲見64歲王儲瓦吉拉隆功（Maha Vajiralongkorn），王儲要求與人民一起為泰王舉哀一段時間，暫緩登基。

帕拉育告訴記者：「讓我們等待適當時間。」

他表示：「我今天覲見王儲，他要求一些時間準備，再宣告他為新國王。」

泰國過渡國會「國民議會」（NationalLegislative Assembly）今晚在特別會議結束後，也未正式請求王儲登基。

國民議會副主席皮拉薩（Peerasak Porchit）說：「今天沒有什麼決議，我們等待下一步。」

泰國國王蒲美蓬（Bhumibol Adulyadej）不敵病魔撒手人寰後，帕拉育今天稍早表示，全國將舉哀1年。

帕拉育在王室宣布蒲美蓬辭世後不久向全國發表談話說，泰王已於1972年指定王位繼承人，政府將告知國會相關決定。

帕拉育並未指明瓦吉拉隆功將繼位成為新任泰王，但蒲美蓬1972年冊封瓦吉拉隆功為王儲。

帕拉育透過所有電視頻道發表聲明說：「政府將著手進行繼位事宜。政府將通知國民議會，國王蒲美蓬已於1972年12月28日指定王位繼承人。」

帕拉育指的是瓦吉拉隆功獲封王儲的日期。

帕拉育在同一份聲明中說，全國將進入為期1年的哀悼期，所有娛樂活動必須暫停30天。中央社（翻譯）
